This is useful when producing a music video because you can see the average youtube views per video, which is 8,332. This means that on average a Youtube video gets 8,332 views which is a lot that means a huge amount of people look at a Youtube.


This shows the average views per video by their Youtube category. The most popular is Entertainment, then How-to and Style then the rest follow. This means that the average count for videos within the entertainment category was the most popular and get the most views. When we make a music video this will be very helpful because we know that entertainment is most popular category.


This shows the list of the most viewed Youtube videos. The first one is Gangnam style and it has 2673 million views and was uploaded on the 15th July 2012. This shows us the most popular Youtube video and the 39 other top most viewed Youtube videos. We can use this when making a music video to get an idea about what viewers want to see and what they like.

This will help me when producing a music video a long with a Digipak and a magazine album advert because I will look at Gingham styles music video and their accompanying promotional materials and see what they did and the reasons as to why it was so popular over 4 years.
