Start of Unit 51

Today we started talking about Unit 51 and we looked at some website. There are different types of magazines for different people and different occasions. The most popular and common type is consumer magazines which are sold in newsagents. There are business/trade magazines which are magazines people read at work. Customer magazines are a form of marketing. Newspaper supplements are the type that you get given for free by people on the weekend. Partworks have a set of issues that you have to buy to collect them. Some people buy academic journals which are medical journals about medicine and doctors.

The best UK selling magazine is 'OK' magazine which is the TV genre which includes information, news and articles about celebrities, TV and TV stars, fashion, and health.

Magazine's have been around since a very very long time ago, since 1663 and before printers they were made manually using pencils, rulers and paint.

-why did it go well

A few lines from our script weren't spoken, this is because

Next Step...

Me, Morgan and Abbie have filmed our 10 second advert on Friday 8th January. Our actors were Jamie as the father and Martin as the son and we did not need to use our back up actors which is a very good thing however they were there just incase. Our filming took place at Abbies house which was our chosen location therefore we didn't need to use our back up locations. We use the right equipment we said we would use and we didn't need to use the back up camera and tripod although the back up equipment was at Abbies incase we needed to use it. Overall our filming went very successful and we started editing it. We haven't finished editing yet but we have a lesson tomorrow (Monday) which we are going to use to finish editing.

Shreddie's Advert

We have been starting to film our 10 second ad. Me, Morgan Jays and Abbie Novack are in a team and we have decided our client is going to be Shreddies so we have started to plan our advert. Attached are some supporting documents from our advert such as the script, filming and editing schedule, parts, thumbnails, production budget, and the equipment hire sheet. However, at this stage we have already filmed part of the 2 minute advert and should be starting to edit our film.
